Mindy Cooper
Co-Founder & Director

Mindy Cooper (she/her), a veteran of the Broadway community for over 30 years, has always led with her passion for new works. As a Director, Choreographer and performer on Broadway and Off-Broadway- Chicago (Original Revival Cast), Titanic (Original Cast), Dracula The Musical, Wrong Mountain, Beauty and the Beast, Song & Dance, 50 Shades The Musical Parody, The Eternal Space, Mars/Venus Live, Soul Doctor, Five Course Love, Hoi Polloi, Being Seen (FringeNYC) and Deployed (NYMF). Readings, Commissions and World Premieres- Mothers (NNPN), Social Life the Musical, American Monkey, Still Will Be Heard (Peak Performances), My Friend Hafiz (SF Mission), and Mojave The Musical. Her regional work has won multiple Bay Area Theater Critics Awards and Theatre Bay Area Awards. She is a Professor Emeritus of Theatre at UC Davis.

Lisa Quoresimo
Co-Founder & Director

Lisa Quoresimo (she/her) is Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Southern Utah University. As a composer, playwright, director and performer, her work has been seen at Bay Area Theatres such as Berkeley Rep, Shotgun Players, the Brava Theatre Center and The Marsh, as well as Off-off Broadway, across the country and internationally. Her scholarly work has been published in Theatre Topics, Analog Game Studies, and the forthcoming issue of Frontiers, and of Hamilton, History and Hip-Hop: Essays on an American Musical. Lisa holds a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from UC Davis and an M.A. from Carnegie Mellon. She has taught on the faculties of NYU and the Manhattan School of Music.


Kyle Holmes
Development

Kyle Holmes (he/him) is an educator, director, playwright and member of The Dramatists Guild of America. As the Director of Theatre Arts at Granite Bay High School for the past nine seasons, he has produced and directed over twenty main stage productions. In 2018, Holmes began writing Ranked, A Musical with composer and musical director David Taylor Gomes. After a developmental workshop at GFTF in 2019, Ranked has been licensed and performed by high schools across the country, released an original concept album, is slated for an HBO documentary tentatively titled "Ranked," and is headed towards a New York City industry presentation.

As an educator, he was one of four theatre arts teachers in California chosen to serve on the California Department of Education’s Visual and Performing Arts Standards Advisory Committee (CDE VAPA SAC), re-writing California’s K-12 Standards for Theatre Arts in 2018. Holmes received his B.A. in English from UC Davis, as well as his single-subject teaching credential in English and his Master of Arts degree in Education. Additionally, he holds an Administrative Services credential as well as a Career Technical Education Credential for Arts, Media and Entertainment.
